Copyright policy
Last updated Oct 21, 2026
VerifiedGamers hosts reviews and images posted by its users. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it, following the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Sending a notice
The quickest way is the copyright notice form. You can also email our designated agent, [DMCA AGENT NAME], at [COPYRIGHT EMAIL], or write to [POSTAL ADDRESS]. A notice must include:
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- the link to the material on VerifiedGamers;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages.
What happens next
We remove or disable the material and tell the user who posted it, passing on the notice. Users who repeatedly infringe have their accounts closed.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send our agent a counter-notice with: the material removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the US, any district where we can be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice; and your signature. Unless they tell us they have gone to court, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days later.
